OUR STORY
Frustration Leads to Passion
Strategikon name comes from the little-known war strategy book, “Strategikon” by Byzantine emperor Maurice. Anca Copaescu, the company Founder, discovered it as a teenager and was deeply influenced by it. One line in the book particularly resonated with her: “Be ready to adapt to the unexpected, for nothing ever goes precisely as planned.” She took to heart the lesson that flexibility and resilience are vital when navigating unpredictable business challenges.
After years of witnessing the inefficiencies and challenges in clinical outsourcing and meeting many companies that experienced similar struggles, inefficiently working with Excel and generic tools to manage hundreds of millions of outsourced clinical contracts, Anca decided the industry deserves a better solution. Our entire team at Strategikon team is a visionary team, we are constantly thinking of how we can achieve the next level of innovation in clinical business operations and ultimately, through our collective effort and delivery of fit for purpose, intelligent solutions, accelerate study start-up and reduce the cost of clinical development, so that life-saving medicines can come to the hands of patients faster.
